Borough of Akron, PA FINES AND PENALTIES

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of § 15-103, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of § 15-301, Subsections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less $5 and not more than $15.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating any other provisions of § 15-301, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $25.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of §§ 15-302, 15-304, and 15-305, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $25.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of § 15-303, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $35. Any person exceeding the maximum speed limit by more than five miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of $2 per mile for each mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of § 15-401, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $25.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of § 15-402, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $5 and not more than $15.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of § 15-404, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $75 for each 500 pounds or part thereof, in excess of 3,000 pounds over the maximum allowable weight.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of Part 5, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine not less than $5 and not more than $15.

Any person, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of Part 4, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $5 and not more than $15.

Any person, partnership, or corporation violating any of the provisions of § 15-306, for each separate violation, upon summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $25 and not more than maximum fine permitted by the Borough Code.

For violating the provisions of § 15-606, a person, in a summary conviction before a magistrate, shall be sentenced to pay such fines as are set forth in the Vehicle Code.
