The Sign Administrator shall give written notice to any person violating
any provision of this chapter, with such notice stating the corrective
action to be taken and the deadline for compliance.
B.Â
Failure of any person violating any provision of this chapter to
comply with the written notice shall, upon conviction thereof in a
summary proceeding, be fined not less than $100 nor more than $300
for each violation and, in default of any fine so imposed, shall be
imprisoned for a period not to exceed 10 days for each violation.
Any person submitting false information to the Sign Administrator
for any purpose under this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof
in a summary proceeding, be fined not less than $500 nor more than
$1,000 for each violation and, in default of any fine so imposed,
shall be imprisoned for a period not to exceed 10 days for each violation.
Any sign contractor erecting a sign in violation of this chapter shall,
upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding, be fined not less
than $500 nor more than $1,000 for each violation and, in default
of any fines so imposed, shall be imprisoned for a period not to exceed
10 days for each violation.
