Be it hereby enacted and ordained by the Supervisors of Hemlock
Township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, that a tax is hereby levied
on all property within 780 feet of any fire hydrants in said Township
of Hemlock, based upon the assessment for County tax purposes. The
tax shall be calculated annually by dividing the annual cost of the
fire hydrants by the total assessed value of all property within 780
feet of any fire hydrant and shall be expressed in 1/100 of one mill
on each $1 of assessed value. Such assessment shall be collected annually
by the taxing authorities and collectors in accordance with the laws
of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
