A.
The annual
total compensation for the Township Treasurer is hereby established
and fixed as $9,000; that is, $500 as Township Treasurer and $8,500
as Tax Collector for the Township of North Versailles, which includes,
but is not limited to, receiving and collecting taxes and all other
monies excluding delinquent liened taxes and municipal lien claims
for the Township of North Versailles, accounting therefor, or acknowledging,
signing checks, warrants, documents, instruments, receipts, contracts
or any other papers whatever required of him or her in the discharge
of his or her duties as Township Treasurer as required by law.
B.
Tax Collector.

(1)
The annual compensation for office of elected Tax Collector commencing
on January 1, 2014, is hereby set at $10,000 annually.
(2)
The elected Tax Collector shall be entitled to office space in the
municipal building at no charge.
(3)
In addition to the compensation, the Township shall pay reasonable
expenses for the functions of office only insofar as they are related
to the collection of taxes for the Township. These expenses shall
include actual printing and postage.
This chapter shall take effect commencing with the term of the
next elected Township Treasurer to begin on January 1, 1990.
