The Municipal Judge shall preside over all cases brought before the Municipal Court within the City of Lake Ozark and he/she shall take care to interpret and apply the law to protect the interests of the City and any person or entity charged with a crime within the City of Lake Ozark.

The Municipal Judge shall be allowed compensation such as from time to time shall be fixed by the Board of Aldermen. The Municipal Judge shall not receive compensation contingent upon the outcome of any case in the Municipal Court.
