A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person at any time to park or allow to stand unattended any automobile or other vehicle within the corporate limits of the Town of Westernport in front of any curb marked by a red line or marked by a "No Parking" sign, or any public or private driveway so as to block or impede ingress or egress thereto or therefrom, or within a distance of 10 feet of any public fire plug or hydrant or a distance of 20 feet of the intersection of two public streets.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person at any time to park or allow to stand unattended any unlicensed automobile or other vehicle upon the streets, lanes or alleys within the corporate limits of the Town of Westernport for a period exceeding 48 hours.
C. 
Any person or persons offending against any of the provisions of this section shall be fined for each violation thereof $35. Failure to pay the fine or appear in court to contest the charge will result in doubling the fine to $70 and/or confinement in county jail for a period of not more than three days.
A. 
It shall be unlawful and a violation of this section for any person to operate a motor vehicle upon any of the streets, lanes or alleys of the Town of Westernport, within its corporate limits and which has not been designated or maintained as a part of the state or federal highway system or an extension thereof, at a speed greater than 25 miles per hour.
B. 
Unless otherwise designated in any trial, hearing or proceeding before any of the courts for Allegany County, Maryland, it shall be deemed lawful to introduce into evidence, whenever it shall be deemed material to the issues involved, any data, information or other intelligence in numeral, graph or general descriptive form, together with the legend and explanation thereof, pertaining to the speed of a specific motor vehicle or motor vehicles, which said data, information or intelligence has been obtained through the use of an electromatic speed meter or radar speed meter service or device or similar devices.
C. 
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this section and any person who aids or abets or assists therein shall upon conviction thereof be subjected to a fine of any amount not exceeding $50 for each offense or violation or be imprisoned for a term not exceeding 15 days.

A. 
It shall be unlawful to park or leave standing the following vehicles at any time upon any public street:
(1) 
Any vehicle exceeding 21 feet in length or six feet in width that is used for commercial purposes;
(2) 
Any vehicle exceeding a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight specification of 8,500 pounds;
(3) 
Vehicles exceeding 300 cubic feet of load space, and any stake platform trucks, dump trucks, crane or tow trucks.
B. 
This section shall not apply to vehicles while actually loading or unloading. or to vehicles which are in the course of a commercial purpose and do not park for more than a two-hour period.
C. 
Permission to park a prohibited vehicle, or to extend the time for parking, may be obtained by means of an oral or written permit from the Town Clerk, Police Commissioner or Street Commissioner. Such permit shall be issued only for good cause and for a period not to exceed 24 hours, unless a written permit for a longer period shall have been granted by action of the Mayor and Commissioners, and such permit shall be granted only for good cause. Any vehicle which is parked in violation of this section shall be subject to being towed from such street and impounded after it has been parked for a twenty-four-hour period.
D. 
Any person or persons offending against any of the provisions of this section of this chapter shall be fined for each violation thereof $35. Failure to pay the fine or appear in court to contest the charge will result in doubling the fine to $70 and/or confinement in the county jail for a period of not more than three days.

A. 
As used in this section, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE (ATV)
A motorized vehicle designed for and capable of cross-country travel on land, water, snow, ice, marsh, swampland, or other natural terrain. "All-terrain vehicle (ATV)" includes:
(1) 
All-terrain vehicles, as defined in Maryland Code, Transportation § 111-103.3;
(2) 
All-terrain vehicles, as defined in Chapter 520, Article III, § 520-8 of the Code of Allegany County, Maryland;
(3) 
Off-the-road motorcycles, as defined in Maryland Code, Transportation, § 25-102.1; and
(4) 
Go-carts.
B. 
It shall be unlawful and a violation of this section for any person to operate an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) upon any of the streets, lanes or alleys of the Town of Westernport, within its corporate limits.
C. 
Any violation of this section shall be a municipal infraction subject to Chapter 135 of the Code of the Town of Westernport.
