Firefighting equipment and related supplies in the possession of the Wrightsville Steam Fire Engine Company No. 1, also known as the Wrightsville Fire Company (hereinafter referred to as "fire company") shall not be taken outside the Borough limits, except with the consent of the Fire Chief, or, in the event of the unavailability of the Fire Chief, then only with the consent of an Assistant Fire Chief.

Said fire company shall have the privilege to elect or appoint such officers as may be provided for by the bylaws of the said fire company and necessary for the proper government and working operations of the same; provided, however, that the Borough Council shall have the right to direct the removal of any incompetent or improper officer or officers that may be chosen by the said Company.

The trustees of said fire company shall report to the Borough Council on or about the first day of each year and quarterly thereafter throughout each year on the condition of all property of the Borough of Wrightsville in possession of said company and such other matters as the trustees may deem pertinent or necessary to the proper operation of said fire company.
