No person shall willfully injure, deface or destroy any building, sidewalk, crosswalk, driveway, or any tree, bush or shrub, or any flower or flower bed or lawn or other property of another, whether such property is real, personal or mixed.

It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully destroy, remove, damage, tamper with, alter or in any manner deface any public school building, bridge, fire hydrant, alarm box, streetlight, street sign, traffic control sign or device, railroad sign or signal, or parking meter belonging to the Village or located in the public places of the Village; nor shall any person mark or post handbills on, or in any manner mar the walls of, any public building, fence, tree, or pole within the Village, or destroy, take, or meddle with any property belonging to the Village, or remove the same from the building or place where it may be kept, placed or stored, without proper authority; or disturb, tamper with, disconnect, damage or alter any Village electric meter or water meter without proper authority.
