A garage sale permit will include the right to erect no more than three signs of a size no greater than three feet by two feet. Such signs shall be put in a place no more than one day before the sale, on private property, not to obstruct traffic vision, and to be removed within 12 hours after the sale is completed.

All garage sales shall be confined to a covered carport, front driveway, garage building, or held in a rear yard as defined by Chapter 36.

The garage sale permit shall be posted in a prominent place on the property during the sale.

A garage sale permit will be issued to an individual resident of the Village only, and not to a corporation or business.

The duration of the garage sale permit shall be for three consecutive days only.
