The owner or custodian of an animal may not deposit or leave
such animal upon its death on public property or the property of another
person, nor shall any person cast any dead animal into any street,
avenue, or alley within the limits of the Town.
All such dead animals shall be disposed of by cremation, burial
or other sanitary means.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article,
or any lawful order issued by the police in pursuance thereof, or
committing any of the acts declared to be unlawful by this article,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall
be subject to a fine not to exceed $100, or may be confined to the
county jail for a period not to exceed 30 days.
