It shall be unlawful for any person or persons within the Town
to keep or maintain a house of ill fame or assignation, resorted to
for the purpose of prostitution or lewdness; and it shall be unlawful
for any person to visit such house of ill fame for purposes of inducing,
enticing, or procuring another to commit a lewd act or an act of prostitution
or moral perversion.

No person within the Town shall set up or keep any gaming table,
or any house, for the purpose of engaging in a game of chance; nor
engage in running or promoting the use of any kind of gaming table
or gaming device adopted, devised and designated for the purpose of
playing any game of chance for money or property; nor shall induce,
entice and permit any person to bet or play at or upon any such gaming
table or device.

Any person upon conviction of such offense shall be subject to the
penalties provided herein, and in addition, any business permits issued
to owners of any premises upon offense shall have been committed,
may be revoked by order of the Mayor and Council.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article or
any lawful order issued by the police in pursuance thereof, or committing
any of the acts declared to be unlawful by this article, shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be subject
to a fine not to exceed $100, or may be confined to the county jail
for a period not to exceed 30 days, and where the offense is of a
continuing nature, each day's violation shall be deemed a separate
offense.
