Township of Upper Tulpehocken, PA Chapter 326 Property Maintenance

[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Upper Tulpehocken at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I). Amendments noted where applicable.]

§ 326-1 Adoption of standards.

The International Property Maintenance Code, 2018 Edition, as the same may be amended through the effective date of this chapter, is hereby adopted as the property maintenance code in effect in Upper Tulpehocken Township.

§ 326-2 Amendments to standards.

The following amendments shall be made to the International Property Maintenance Code:

A. Section 101.1. Insert name of jurisdiction "Township of Upper Tulpehocken."

B. Section 112.4, penalty for violation of Stop-work order: criminal penalty, up to $1,000, no less than $300.

C. Section 302.4, height of weeds triggering penalty: 10 inches.

D. Section 304.14, Insect screens required for certain rooms where windows open during certain months: April to October.

E. Section 602.3, Heat supply for occupied space (residential) during certain months: October to April.

F. Section 602.4, Heat supply for occupied space (work space) during certain months: November to March.
