Town of Lyons, NY Traffic Regulations

Traffic control signals shall be installed, maintained and operated as follows:

A three-section, four-face signal head at the following intersections:

William Street with Church Street and Montezuma Street.

The following streets are hereby designated as one-way traffic in the direction indicated:

The turning of vehicles so as to proceed in the opposite direction is hereby prohibited at the following intersections:

§ 280-9 Through highways.

Broad Street is hereby designated as a through highway except at Queen Street, and:

Stop signs shall be erected at the following entrances thereto:

A yield sign shall be erected on the entrance thereto on Rice Street from the northwest.

A yellow signal light installed at the intersection of William Street with Broad Street, when lit, indicates no traffic shall proceed south on William Street during school hours.

Canal Street is hereby designated as a through highway from Phelps Street to the Town line and stop signs shall be erected on the following entrances thereto:

§ 280-12 Maximum speed limits.

Forty-five miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed limit at which vehicles may proceed on or along the following highways or parts of highways:

Thirty miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed limit at which vehicles may proceed on or along highways within the Town Center Districts (see Chapter 300, Zoning, Part 5), except on the following highways or as otherwise provided:
