Every building in which plumbing fixtures are installed, and every premises having drainage piping thereon, shall connect to a public sewer, if available. A sanitary sewer shall be deemed available when a sanitary sewer line is within two hundred (200) feet of any part of the property to be connected to the sewer. Any such connection shall comply with the provisions of the St. Louis County Plumbing Code and Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District guidelines.

The City of Crestwood hereby adopts the Sewer Lateral Repair Policy dated January 26, 2021, attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof.[1] The Director of Public Works shall make a copy of the Sewer Lateral Repair Policy available to the public in his or her offices. The Sewer Lateral Repair Policy adopted November 12, 2019, is hereby repealed.
