The Township Committee may from time to time by resolution duly enacted establish such incentives to be paid to emergency medical technicians employed by the Township on such terms and conditions as will show appreciation, thanks and consideration for time spent in the service of the Township, but in no case shall the same be considered regular or overtime compensation pursuant to the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, 29 U.S.C.A. § 201 et seq.
Such incentives to be paid to emergency medical technicians employed by the Township shall in no case exceed the amount of $1,000 per year.
