A. 
Creation. There is hereby established in and for the Village a Board of Local Improvements, consisting of the President, who shall be President of the Board, and the six Trustees, who shall be members of the Board of Local Improvements.
B. 
Secretary. The Village Clerk shall be ex officio secretary of the Board of Local Improvements, and for such services shall receive no compensation.

The President and members of the Board of Local Improvements shall serve without compensation on said Board of Local Improvements.

The Board of Local Improvements shall have all of the powers and authorities conferred pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/9-1-1 et seq., and shall perform the duties assigned to it by said Statute.
