Newtown Borough hereby appoints the locally-elected Tax Collector as the municipal officer authorized to provide tax certifications upon request by the public.

Newtown Borough hereby authorizes the Tax Collector to assess, collect and retain a fee as compensation for providing tax certifications as an additional service to the public, said fee to be in the amount of $35 per tax certification.
