This chapter shall be known as the "Bingo Licensing Law of the
Town of Mt. Morris."
Definitions as set forth in General Municipal Law Article 14-H
are hereby adopted herein and made a part hereof.
The purpose of this chapter is to enable eligible not-for-profit
organizations to raise funds through authorized and licensed bingo
games for charitable, educational, scientific, health, religious and
patriotic purposes.

Pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law Article 14-H, the
New York State Constitution, the rules and regulations of the New
York State Racing and Wagering Board[1] and any and all amendments to said statutes and regulations,
it shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining
a license therefor, to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial
limits of the Town of Mount Morris subject to the provisions of this
chapter, General Municipal Law Article 14-H and provisions of the
State Racing and Wagering Board.

The provisions of General Municipal Law Article 14-H, and the rules
and regulations of the State Racing and Wagering Board adopted and
any amendments thereof that may be adopted by the State of New York
shall control and be applicable to the licensing of organizations
and the conduct of the game of bingo in the Town of Mount Morris,
and all such statutes and rules and regulations are hereby incorporated
by reference and made a part hereof as if set forth in full herein.
It shall be authorized for organizations to apply for a provision
in their license to conduct the game of bingo on Sundays only between
the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight, but not on Easter Sunday,
Christmas Day or New Year's Eve.
The Town Board of the Town of Mount Morris shall have and exercise
rigid control and close supervision over all games of bingo conducted
under any licenses issued by it pursuant to General Municipal Law
§ 484 and the provisions of General Municipal Law Article
14-H, and said Town Board shall have all powers and authority provided
for therein.
This chapter shall take effect upon being filed with the Secretary
of State of the State of New York and following the approval by a
majority of the qualified electors voting on a proposition submitted
at the next general election held within the Town of Mount Morris.[1]
