A. 
Off-street parking refers to off-street space available for the parking of one or more motor vehicles and having an area of not less than 200 square feet and a width of not less than 10 feet, exclusive of passageways and driveways appurtenant thereto and giving access thereto, and having direct access to a street, road or alley.
B. 
The number of off-street parking facilities required shall be set forth as follows:

1 for each 4 seats
Automobile service stations
4 for each bay, plus 1 for each employee in the maximum working shift
Bank and savings institutions
1 for each 300 square feet of floor area, or 8 for each teller window, whichever is greater
Bowling alleys
5 for each alley, plus the necessary space as set forth in this section for affiliated uses such as bars, restaurants or other commercial uses
Churches and other places of worship
1 for each 3 seats, or 1 for each 72 inches of seating space when benches rather than seats are used
Community buildings, social halls and clubs
1 for each 4 seats, except where a specific amount of seating is undetermined, then 1 for each 100 square feet or 8 members
Dwellings
2 for each family or dwelling
Funeral homes, mortuaries
1 for each 4 seats in the auditorium
Rooming houses, lodging houses
1 for each bedroom
Libraries, museums or galleries
1 for each 500 square feet of floor space
Industrial and manufacturing uses and warehouses
1 for every 1 1/2 employees on the largest shift, or a total parking area of 1/2 the building area, whichever is greater
Medical or dental clinics or offices
4 for each doctor or dentist, plus 1 for each 100 square feet of floor area
Mixed land uses
Mixed land uses in the same building shall be calculated as the sum of the individual uses unless the applicant can demonstrate to the approving authority that the parking characteristics of the total needs of the development are less than the sum of the parts and the number of spaces to be provided will satisfy the lesser need
Motels, hotels and motor lodges
1 for each rental unit and, in addition, compliance with the requirements for each particular additional use located on the property, such as restaurants, eating and drinking establishments, retail stores and meeting rooms
Multifamily residential dwellings
1 1/2 for each dwelling unit
Nursing homes, hospitals and convalescing homes
1 for every 2 beds, plus 1 per staff member and employee in the maximum work shift
Offices, business and professional
1 for every 250 square feet of floor area (other than floor area medical and dental)
Restaurants, eating and drinking establishments and catering halls
1 for every 3 seats, plus 1 for each 2 employees
Restaurants, fast-food
1 for each 2 seats, plus 1 for each 2 employees in the maximum work shift, or a minimum of 30, whichever is greater
Retail stores, store groups, shops and shopping centers
1 for each 150 square feet of floor area where the floor area shall not exceed 2,000 square feet, or 1 for each 175 square feet of floor area where the floor area shall exceed 2,000 square feet
Sanatoriums, convalescent, and children's homes
1 for each 2 beds, plus 1 for each 2 employees
Public and government
1 for every 800 square feet of building's gross floor area
Theaters
1 for every 3 seats
Other uses not provided herein

C. 
Requirements for residential off-street parking spaces.
(1) 
The size of off-street residential parking spaces shall be a minimum of 180 square feet with a width measurement of not less than nine feet and a minimum length of 20 feet.
A. 
Loading spaces shall be provided and maintained on the same premises with every building, structure or part thereof erected, occupied, enlarged or intended to be used, involving the receipt or distribution by vehicles of material or merchandise.
B. 
Such space shall be adequate for standing, loading and unloading services in order to avoid undue interference with use of public transportation.
C. 
Loading and unloading space shall not be occupied or considered as any part of the required off-street parking.
D. 
All business uses shall include a ten-foot by twenty-five-foot loading space with a fourteen-foot height clearance for every 20,000 square feet or fraction thereof of building floor or land use for the above-mentioned purpose.
