The East Rockaway Public Library was formally established pursuant
to a Charter from the New York State Department of Education in 1965.
In accordance with Section 41 of the New York State Civil Service
Law, this article authorizes the East Rockaway Public Library Board
of Trustees to establish the exempt position of Secretary to the Library
Board.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Village Law and the Civil
Service Law of the State of New York, the Board of Trustees of the
East Rockaway Public Library is hereby authorized to establish the
exempt position of Secretary to the Library Board.
