The Tax Collector shall, upon the request of any person, furnish
certificates showing the taxes paid on any property as shown by his/her
records. A fee of not more than $5 shall be charged for any such certificate,
and shall be payable to the Tax Collector.
The Tax Collector shall, upon the request of any person, furnish
a duplicate tax bill showing the taxes due on any property as shown
by his/her records. A fee of not more than $5 shall be charged for
any such duplicate. Moreover, the Tax Collector shall, upon the request
of any person, provide data on disks (if available) or copies of other
relevant tax information. The fees must be reasonable and based on
prevailing fees for comparable duplication services provided by local
business entities. Furthermore, with respect to returned checks, the
Tax Collector shall charge the cost of such bad checks to the maker
of the check. All such fees and costs shall be payable to the Tax
Collector.
