A. Smoking is banned in all County-owned buildings.
B. Violators (those who smoke and those who allow smoking to occur in
an office in which they are in charge) shall be guilty of an infraction
as set forth in Section 191.773, RSMo.
C. Individuals who violate this Section shall be fined ten dollars ($10.00)
for the first violation, fifty dollars ($50.00) for the second violation
and two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each and every violation thereafter.

A. An inmate is prohibited from receiving or possessing the following
items in or about the premises of the Cass County adult detention
facility:
1.
Tobacco products, including, but not limited to, the following:
a.
Cigarette: a tube or tubes of finely cut tobacco enclosed in
paper designed for smoking or a similar tube designed for smoking
and filled wholly or partly with some other substance.
b.
Cigar: a tubular roll of tobacco designed for smoking and usually
consisting of a core bound together by a leaf with the whole being
encased in either another leaf of smooth and even texture or a paper
designed for smoking.
c.
Tobacco: the leaves or portions of leaves of cultivated tobacco
prepared and processed for use in smoking or chewing or as snuff or
to ingest nicotine into the human body.
d.
Snuff: a preparation of pulverized tobacco to be chewed, placed
against the gums, or inhaled through the nostrils.
B. Definition. Unless otherwise defined in this Article, the following
definition shall apply:
INMATE
Any person serving a period of incarceration in the Cass
County detention facility and/or any person being held in the custody
of the Cass County detention center.
C. A violation of this Section shall be a misdemeanor.

A. It shall be unlawful to bury human remains except as follows:
1.
Human remains buried in an encased concrete box must be buried
at a depth of four and one-half (4 1/2) feet minimum.
2.
Human remains buried in an encased wooden box must be buried
at a depth of six (6) feet minimum.

A. A person commits the crime of failing to register as a sex offender
when the person is required to register under Sections 589.400 to
589.425, RSMo., and fails to comply with any requirement of Sections
589.400 to 589.425, RSMo.
B. Any person convicted of a violation of this Section shall be fined
in an amount of not less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the
first offense and not less than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for
any subsequent offense.
