For the third and following police response to a false alarm within any calendar year, the alarm user shall pay a penalty as set forth in Chapter A401, Master Fine Schedule. The penalty shall be increased for the fifth and any additional response to a false alarm, as set forth in Chapter A-401. After the fifth false alarm within a calendar year, the business or person responsible for the maintenance of the alarm shall meet with the Police Department to develop an appropriate plan for correction of the issue resulting in the false alarms. The Police Department shall provide notice of the required meeting. Failure to meet with the Police Department or to implement the plan of correction shall result in the increased penalty amount being imposed for all subsequent calls for false alarms, even if they occur in a subsequent calendar year.
