The Annual Town Meeting for the adoption of the fiscal budget and other business shall be held the Monday preceding Memorial Day and a second session for the consideration of financial articles and other business shall be held on a Monday in the month of October or November after a public meeting by the Board of Selectmen in June of each year to vote on the date. Town Meetings shall be held at Town Hall or other adequate place to be designated by the Board of Selectmen in the warrant announcing the meeting. Unless otherwise established by vote of the Board of Selectmen, all citizens' petitioned warrant articles submitted pursuant to MGL c. 39, § 10, for inclusion on either an Annual or Special Town Meeting warrant must be delivered to the Board of Selectmen's office prior to the date set by the Board of Selectmen for closing of the warrant.

The election of Town officers shall be held on the Monday following the second Saturday of June, in the Town Hall or any other adequate place to be designated by the Board of Selectmen in the warrant announcing the meeting.
