The term "public dancing hall," as used in this Article, shall mean any place which is held out to the public as a spot where persons may dance, either by paying an admission for the right to dance to an orchestra, musical instruments or a music making machine or by furnishing their own music by jukebox or otherwise, whether such place is operated in conjunction with other business activities or not.
