A.
A code regulating the location, construction, use, maintenance and method of emptying or cleaning individual sewage disposal systems, the issuance of permits to locate, construct, empty or clean such systems, and fixing penalties for the violation thereof is hereby adopted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1 to 26:3-69.6. A copy of such code is annexed hereto and made a part hereof without inclusion of the text thereof herein.

The code established and adopted by this section is described and commonly known as the "Individual Sewage Disposal System Code of New Jersey (1963)."
C.
Three copies of the Individual Sewage Disposal System Code of New Jersey (1963) have been placed on file in the office of the Secretary, Clerk or other similar office of the Health Officer and will remain on file in such office for the use and examination of the public.
D.
In addition to the foregoing, there is hereby adopted the code promulgated by the State Department of Environmental Protection entitled "Standards for the Construction of Individual Subsurface Sewage Disposal Systems" incorporated in the New Jersey Administrative Code as N.J.A.C. 7.9-2.1 et seq. (hereafter "State Code") which became effective in July, 1978, and which shall supersede and govern in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with the foregoing provisions of this Sec. 20-7 et seq. of the Lawrence Township Code (Ord. No. 658, adopted 9-20-1972) or any other applicable ordinance of the Township of Lawrence. Three copies of the State Code have been placed on file in the offices each of the Township Health Officer and the Municipal Clerk, are incorporated herein by reference, and will remain on file in such offices for the use and inspection of the public.
E.
In the event the State Code is hereby further amended or supplemented by the State Department of Environmental Protection, further action necessary to adopt such amendments or supplements shall be by resolution of the Lawrence Township Council, copies of which resolution, and the amendments and supplements thereto adopted, shall likewise be placed on file as set forth above.
