[Adopted 8-10-2017 by Ord. No. 2017-09]
A.
In order for the Code Enforcement Department to effectively contact property owners regarding violations of Property Maintenance Code and to provide other information, it is necessary for accurate contact information for all properties to be provided. Accordingly, the Township shall include, annually, with a tax bill mailing, notice to all property owners of the requirement to provide the following information to the Township Clerk no later than December 31 of each calendar year for any property for which that information has not been provided or has changed since the date such information was initially provided.
(1)
The name, address, telephone number and email address of the owner or owners of the premises shall be provided.
(2)
In the case of a partnership, the names and addresses of all general partners shall be provided, together with the telephone numbers and email addresses for each individual partner, indicating where such individual may be reached both during day and evening hours, which telephone numbers shall include cell phone numbers.
(3)
If the record owner is a corporation, the name and address of the registered agent and corporate officers of said corporation shall be provided, together with the telephone number and email address for each such individual, indicating where such individual may be reached both during day and evening hours, which shall include providing the cell phone numbers of each such individual. All registration addresses shall be physical addresses; post office boxes alone are insufficient.
Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment not to exceed 90 days, or both. Each day such violation is committed or continues after the first 30 days shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense for each day and shall be punishable by an additional fine of not more than $50 per day. The Township of Little Egg Harbor may, at its discretion, seek injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction of the State of New Jersey.
