The term of office of the Town Superintendent of Highways of
the Town of Macedon shall be changed to a four-year term commencing
with the term of the Town Superintendent of Highways elected at the
next biennial Town election held after the effective date of this
article.
This article shall be subject to a mandatory referendum pursuant
to § 23 of the Municipal Home Rule Law and shall take effect
upon approval by the electors of the Town of Macedon at a special
election to be held on November 7, 1978, and upon filing in the Office
of the Secretary of State.[1]
