This article shall be known as the "Parking Ordinance of the Town of Macedon."
No motor vehicle shall be allowed or permitted to park on any street or road in the Town of Macedon during the period commencing November 1 in each year and ending April 1 of the next succeeding year, except as otherwise posted.
Any motor vehicle parked on any street or road in the Town of Macedon in violation of this article may be removed by or under the direction of any law enforcement officer upon his own determination or upon the request of the Town Highway Superintendent or his deputy.
For purposes of enforcement, violations of this article shall be considered to be traffic infraction, as the same is defined by the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York, and any person convicted of a violation of this article shall be subject to those penalties provided by the said Vehicle and Traffic Law for traffic infractions. In addition, any person so convicted shall be responsible for the cost of motor vehicle removal, towing and storage.
