A. Right to farm. It is the intent of this zoning district to both govern
and protect agricultural land, building and structural uses in accordance
with the provisions of Act 93 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1981,
as amended, known as the "Right to Farm Act," when such operations are compliant with generally accepted
agricultural management practices as established by the Michigan Department
of Agriculture. All legal nonconforming agricultural operations as
defined by the Right to Farm Act shall be governed by the provisions
of this chapter to the extent that such provisions are not in conflict
with the provisions of the Right to Farm Act, in which case, the provisions
of the Right to Farm Act shall prevail.
