Now therefore be it resolved that the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Geneseo finds as follows:
A. That the aforesaid petition for annexation substantially complies
in form and content with the General Municipal Law Article 17.
B. That the proposed annexation of certain territory in the Town of
Geneseo to the Village of Geneseo as described in the aforesaid petition
is in the overall public interest.
Now therefore it is ordered that the consent and approval of
the Board of Trustees of the Village of Geneseo is hereby given to
the annexation of the territory now situate in the Town and described
in the aforesaid petition (Exhibit A as on file in the Village Clerk's
Office) to the Village of Geneseo.
All that tract or parcel of land situate in the Town of Geneseo,
County of Livingston and State of New York, bounded and described
as follows:
A. Beginning at a point on the dividing line between lands now or formerly
owned by Geneseo Central School (L.396, P.779) on the north and lands
now or formerly owned by Susan S. Kelley and Stephen M. Kelley (L.1258,
P.1416) on the south, said point of beginning is described as being
south 67° 22' 44" east, a distance of 432.02 feet from an
existing iron pin at the westerly corner of said lands owned by Geneseo
Central School;
(1)
South 67° 22' 44" East, along the above mentioned dividing
line, a distance of 559.00 feet to a point;
(2)
Thence the following three courses and distances through the
aforesaid lands owned by Susan S. Kelley and Stephen M. Kelley:
(a)
South 22° 37' 16" west, a distance of 389.62 feet to
a point;
(b)
North 67° 22' 44" west, a distance of 559.00 feet to
a point;
(c)
North 22° 37' 16" east, a distance of 389.62 feet to
the point of beginning; containing 5.000 acres, more or less.
