All ordinances of the Township of West Pike Run which provide
for enforcement by the use of criminal procedures are hereby amended
to provide for the enforcement of such ordinances through the use
of civil procedures as set forth in this amending article. The ordinances
that are being amended, include, but are not limited to, the following
ordinances: Ordinance Nos. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19,
21, 87-2, 87-3, 88-1, 88-2, 89-2, 90-1, 90-6, 90-7, 90-8, 91-1, 91-2,
91-3, 93-1, 94-1, in addition to the Zoning Ordinance.
All references in any ordinances to criminality and criminal
fines are hereby repealed.
A violation of any of the Township ordinances that contain a
penalty provision shall subject the offender to a civil fine in an
amount of not less than $100 nor more than $600 in addition to costs
and attorney fees. Such fines shall be determined by the officer of
the Township authorized to do so by the Board of Supervisors.
