The RR Rural Residential/Agricultural District provides primarily for low density residential uses, consisting of single-family, detached dwellings, in a manner that protects the distinctive character and sensitive natural features of the Township. The RR District permits building densities that support the goals and policies of the Township Master Plan; other provisions in this chapter and in other Township ordinances include a variety of development techniques to encourage responsible development in reasonable harmony with natural features, including slopes, woods, wetlands, bodies of water and wildlife habitat. Farms and farming operations are also permitted, as are specified nonresidential uses that support residential development.
