Town of Fabius, NY Article II Board of Assessment Review Hearing Date

§ 22-4 Statement of intent.

It is the intent of the Town Board of the Town of Fabius, who employs an Assessor who is employed by other assessing units, to adopt by local law a date for meeting of the Board of Assessment Review other than that provided in Subdivision 1-a of § 512 of the New York State Real Property Tax Law.

§ 22-5 Date for review of complaints.

The Board of Assessment Review shall meet to hear complaints in relation to assessments on the second Tuesday in June. This article shall remain in effect until rescinded or superseded by subsequent local law.

§ 22-6 When effective.

This article shall take effect immediately upon filing in the Office of the Secretary of State, with the Clerk of the Town of Fabius and with the State Board of Assessment Review in addition to any and all other filings required by law.
