No person or persons shall set or maintain any fire upon any
of the streets, sidewalks, or alleys in the Borough or burn or cause
to be burned thereon any paper, boxes, rubbish, leaves or other material
or substance of any kind.
Out-of-door fires upon private property shall be prohibited
except that outdoor cooking shall be permitted in fireplaces and grills
designed for the purpose, with an individual in attendance at all
times.

Violations of this chapter shall be punishable for each offense
by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $1,000, plus costs of
prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, by
imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
