Any expenditure requiring a bond issue of $500,000 or more, whether it be a Town government expenditure or a school expenditure, shall be submitted at an adjourned session of the Town Meeting, and the vote shall be taken on a written ballot. The polls shall be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The vote on the bond issue shall be seven days after the bond proposal and it shall be advertised in the paper.
