[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Meeting of the Town of Swansea
as Ch. 2, Art. II, Div. 2, of the 1988 Revised General Bylaws. Amendments

The board of selectmen and board of assessors shall each consist
of three members. At every annual election of Town officers one member
of each board shall be elected by ballot to serve for a term of three
years.
The selectmen shall exercise general supervision over all matters
affecting the interests or welfare of the Town.[1]
