The Mayor may, with the approval of the City Council, revoke
the appointment of any member of a board or commission created by
the City of Seward. Such revocation shall take place at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the City Council. The City Clerk shall send a
notice to the last known address of any such member 10 days prior
to such meeting. Such notice shall contain the time and place of such
meeting and denote the action to be voted on by the City Council.
Any chair or presiding officer of a board or commission of the City
of Seward may request removal of a member via a majority vote of the
relevant board or commission requesting such action. Upon such request
the Mayor may place a vote for revocation of appointment upon the
next eligible City Council agenda.
