[1972 Code § 2-5.1]
Pursuant to the authority of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-137, there is hereby
created the Office of Administrator of the Borough of Woodland Park.

The Administrator shall serve at the pleasure of the Governing
Body.

The Administrator shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice
and consent of the Council. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-138, the Administrator
may be removed by not less than a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Council,
and the resolution of removal shall become effective three (3) months
after its adoption by the Council. The Council may provide that the
resolution shall have immediate effect, provided that the Council
shall cause to be paid to the Administrator forthwith any unpaid balance
of his or her salary and his or her salary for the next three (3)
calendar months following adoption of the resolution.

The Administrator may also hold the office of Clerk or any other
office or position in the Borough for which he or she may be qualified
and which in the opinion of the appointing authority is not incompatible
or in conflict with the duties of Administrator.
