An independent auditor is hereby established in and for the
Borough of Royersford. The independent auditor shall be a certified
public accountant, registered in Pennsylvania, a firm of certified
public accounts registered in Pennsylvania, or a competent firm of
public accountants.

The independent auditor shall be appointed annually by resolution
of the Borough Council of the Borough of Royersford before the close
of each fiscal year, to make an independent examination of the accounting
records of the Borough of Royersford for such fiscal year. The independent
auditor shall also perform such other duties and exercise the powers
as conferred upon him/her by 8 Pa.C.S.A. § 1059.11.
