The Borough Council of the Borough of Merchantville, who is
the appropriate authority as referred to in N.J.S.A. 40A:14-118, shall
adopt and promulgate Rules and Regulations for the police force consistent
with this chapter, state law and federal law.
The Rules and Regulations of the police force to be adopted
and promulgated shall provide for the government of the police force
and shall further provide for the discipline of the police force members.
