It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining a license therefor, as provided by law, to conduct games of chance within the territorial limits of the Village of Adams, subject to the provisions of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law and the provisions set forth by the New York State Gaming Commission[1] and the restrictions contained in § 189 of the General Municipal Law.

Games of chance may be conducted on Sunday pursuant to Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law. However, no games of chance shall be conducted on Easter Sunday, Christmas Day or New Year's Eve.
The words "authorized organization" and "games of chance" shall be defined the same as the definition contained in Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law.
