It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to construct, lease, operate or maintain within the Village limits any building or site used for the killing or slaughtering of animals.

Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not more than $250, imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, for each day of violation.
