a. There shall be a Department of Recreation and Resident Services,
the head of which shall be the Director. Prior to his appointment,
he shall have had at least three (3) years of applicable experience
in the field of recreation.

a. The Division of Recreation, which shall oversee the general recreation
functions including camps, trips, clinics, parades, men's basketball
and softball, woman's softball, concerts.
b. The Division of Arts, Culture and History, which shall administer
the Barron Arts Center, cultural and artistic programs and exhibits;
and the Township's efforts to preserve, expand and disseminate historical
information.
c. Community Center. The Woodbridge Community Center (WCC) shall be
under the direction of the Recreation Director who shall oversee the
day-to-day operations of the Arenas and Arenas Subdivisions.
d. Division of Volunteer Services shall facilitate the advancement of
volunteerism throughout the Township and provide assistance and recognition
to volunteer organizations.
e. Division of Youth Programs and Services and the Youth Center at Evergreen
shall coordinate Township efforts to expand and enhance youth recreational
opportunities and programs.
f. Veterans Programs and Services which shall coordinate veterans' related
activities and programs.
g. The Marina Utility with duties, powers and responsibilities as set forth in §
2-46 of this Code.

The Director of the Department may appoint an Assistant Director
who, under the direction and supervision of the Director, shall administer
the functions of the Department relating to recreational programs.

The Department of Recreation and Resident Services may charge
and collect, for the use of the Township, a reasonable fee intended
to recover the costs for admission to or use of facilities, programs
or activities provided by the Department pursuant to its authority
under this article as long as the fees are published at least thirty
(30) days prior to the occurrence of the applicable program or activity
in the Office of the Municipal Clerk, with notice to the Municipal
Council. The fees will not take effect until the expiration of thirty
(30) days from the date of publication, unless denied in whole or
in part by the Municipal Council in the form of a Resolution adopted
within the thirty (30) day period.

The Department of Recreation and Resident Services may adopt
suitable rules and regulations for the safety and conduct of persons
using recreational facilities and for the preservation of public peace
and order at public events. The Council shall approve such rules and
regulations.

The Department of Recreation and Resident Services may charge
and collect a fee for use of the Township's portable stage for non-Township
sponsored events. The Township shall be reimbursed for all costs incurred
for set-up and take-down of the stage. The minimum fee shall be seven
hundred twenty ($720.00) dollars Mondays through Saturdays and one
thousand eighty ($1,080.00) dollars on Sundays. Additional fees shall
be determined by the Director of Recreation. The Municipal Council
may waive such fees for nonprofit organizations.
