The following rules shall be posted at, and followed by, all dog owners, keepers, guardians and other users of the Borough of Bath Paw Park (Dog Park) located at the southern portion of Firefighter's Field, 300 N. Chestnut Street, Bath, PA 18014:
A. 
Only dogs that display their municipality vaccination and municipal/county license tags are allowed to enter the park.
B. 
No dog under six months old, or that has received its first rabies shot within the past 30 days, may enter the park.
C. 
All dogs must be spayed/neutered and free from disease and internal parasites.
D. 
All dogs must be removed from the park by their owner, keeper or guardian at the first sign of aggression or the dog is uncontrollable.
E. 
All dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park. Owners, keepers, or guardians must have leashes for any dog under their supervision with them at all times.
F. 
No more than three dogs may be brought into the park by any one owner, keeper or guardian at any time.
G. 
Dogs must be under the control of the owner, keeper or guardian at all times.
H. 
The use of pinch/spike/pronged, choke or electronic collars within the park is prohibited.
I. 
No dog that has been legally declared vicious is allowed in the park.
J. 
No food, rawhide, treats, or pet food is allowed in the park.
K. 
The park is open from dawn to dusk and closed during maintenance.
L. 
All dog bites must be promptly reported to the Pennsylvania State Police (610.861.2026).
M. 
Owners, keepers and guardians of dogs are required to clean up after their dogs and properly dispose of all waste in appropriate receptacles, and to repair any damage caused by their dogs.
N. 
Owners, keepers, or guardians must stop any dog attempting to dig within the park area. Any holes must immediately be filled by the owner, keeper, or guardian and the Borough Office must be immediately notified.
O. 
No dog grooming activities are permitted in the park.
P. 
The use of alcohol and/or tobacco is prohibited.
Q. 
No children under the age of 15 may enter the park unless under adult supervision (someone at least 18 years or older); dogs must be accompanied by a person 15 years or older at all times. Owners, keepers, or guardians must remain within visual sight and voice control of their dogs at all times.
R. 
The park is for recreational use only and no attendant is on duty. All users of the park do so at their own risk. All owners, keepers, and guardians of dogs and other users of the park agree to release and hold the Borough of Bath and its various departments, Borough Council, employees, volunteers, vendors, consultants, and agents harmless from any and all liability, claims, and/or damages for personal injury, property damage, or injury to their pet(s).
S. 
The Borough's Police Department, Code Enforcement, and Animal Control Officer(s) reserve the right to ban any owner, keeper, guardian, dog or other user from the park for violation of these rules.
T. 
Violation of any of these rules is punishable by a fine of $100 for a first violation, $200 for a second violation, and $300 for a third or any subsequent violation and costs of prosecution, or, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days. Each violation of any provision of these rules shall be deemed a separate offense.
