In all cases wherein or whereby any ordinance of the City of
Perth Amboy, statute of the State of New Jersey, specifications or
contract for the supply of labor or materials, rule, regulation or
requirements of any kind or nature of any of the governmental departments
of the City of Perth Amboy shall require the furnishing or filing
of a surety bond to the City of Perth Amboy, hereafter the bond furnished
or filed shall in all cases be one issued by a surety company authorized
to do business in the State of New Jersey, and such surety company
shall act as surety for the compliance of the provisions of said bond.
In no case shall a bond be furnished or filed in which a private individual
or a corporation except a surety company as aforesaid acting as surety
shall be approved or accepted.
