Hereafter no street or streets in the City of Perth Amboy shall
be paved unless such street or streets prior to paving shall be provided
with suitable sewer, gas and water mains and house connections to
same and necessary manholes, gates, caps, valves, etc., so that it
will not be necessary after said pavement is laid to remove it for
the purpose of installing any sewer, gas, water or other public service
pipes.
If private sewer or service pipes of whatever nature exist in
any street or streets about to be paved, such private sewer or service
pipes shall, if deemed necessary by the City Engineer, be reconstructed
and put in first-class condition and the necessary house connections,
manholes, etc., be installed prior to the paving of said street or
streets.
