A Municipal Court for the Borough of Fairview is hereby established
pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2A:8-1 through N.J.S.A. 2A:8-41.

The name of the Municipal Court shall be "The Municipal Court
of the Borough of Fairview, in the County of Bergen."

The Municipal Court shall have a seal that shall bear the impress
of the name of the Court.

There shall be a Judge of the Municipal Court, who shall be
appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council
and who shall serve for a term of three years from the date of his
appointment and until his successor is appointed and qualified.

The Municipal Court and the Judge thereof shall have, possess
and exercise all the functions, powers, duties and jurisdiction conferred
by the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2A:8-1 through N.J.S.A. 2A:8-41, amendments
and supplements thereto, or by any other law.

The Judge shall be compensated by an annual salary which shall
be determined by the Council, and which shall be paid in the same
manner as the salaries of other municipal officers are paid.

A Court Administrator shall be appointed by the Mayor and with
the advice and consent of the Council.

The Court Administrator shall attend the session of the Court
and the examinations, trial and proceedings therein. The Court Administrator
shall perform such other duties and services appertaining to the Court
and the business thereof as the Court may required.
