As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
LIVESTOCK
Domestic animals traditionally used in the production of
food, fiber, or other animal products, including: cattle, bison, buffalo,
sheep, swine, goats, emus, ostriches, horses, donkeys, mules, llamas,
camels, alpacas, deer, reindeer, and poultry.
LIVESTOCK STRUCTURE
A structure used to house or feed livestock, including: fenced
in areas, barns, cages, or kennels.
PERSON
Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation,
company, or organization of any kind.
No person may keep, maintain, or otherwise house livestock in
Waterford Borough.
Exceptions to the prohibition set forth in §
92-8 may be approved by Borough Council at a regular Council meeting, subject to the following criteria:
A. Livestock shall not be kept on any parcel that is less than six acres.
B. Livestock must be contained in a livestock structure at all times.
C. Livestock structures must be located a minimum of 10 feet from the
property line.
D. No more than three livestock may be kept on a parcel.
