A.
No swine, goats, cattle, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigeons, chickens,
ducks, geese or other fowl shall be kept or maintained in the Borough
of Somerville in any cellar or dwelling house.
B.
Such animals or fowl shall be kept confined in a suitable coop with
an enclosed runway.
C.
Such coop, runway or other enclosure shall be kept in a clean and
sanitary condition and kept in a location which will prevent it from
becoming a nuisance or annoyance or interfering with the general well-being
of other residents of this municipality.
Any person who shall be convicted of a violation of any part
of this chapter shall forfeit and pay a penalty of not less than two
dollars ($2) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) besides costs
of conviction, and a further like penalty for each twenty-four (24)
hours or fraction thereof during which such offense shall be continued
upon conviction thereof in the Recorder's Court of the Borough
of Somerville.
